Oct 8, 2013 Deafhood Pedagogies presentation by Dr. Paddy Ladd at Ca. School for the Deaf in Fremont.  Sponsored by Deafhood Foundation and CSD.  Paddy has been researching and studying HOW and why Deaf people teach Deaf children and his findings are important and informative.  If you can’t go in person – it will be streamed live!  life is sweet.  Thank you DHF and CSD.  http://www.deafhoodfoundation.org/Deafhood/Home.html

Viva VEDITZ = This is the 100th anniversary of George W. Veditz’ seminal filmed address “The Preservation of Sign Language” and Georgetown and NTID will be celebrating before the clock hits Jan 1st.

Georgetown University Nov 15 Event Flyer University Pioneers in 100 years of Sign Language Documentation.  1 pm – 5 pm panel workshop.  7 pm – 9 pm Multimedia Festival

Nov 22 – Banquet Honoring Veditz at NTID with an exhibition of his writing and artwork about him.
